Innae School of Taekwondo

Innae is a new club founded in September 2021 and is affiliated to British Taekwondo (the National Governing Body for World Taekwondo in the UK).

It teaches the traditional style of Taekwondo and students will be supported if they choose to go on and compete in either Poomsae or Kyorugi.

Classes are taught by James Barrett (4th Dan) who has been studying Taekwondo for 17 years.

James has been a member of the GB Poomsae squad for over 11 years competing both nationally and internationally including at European and World Championships.

James is also a Class 1 Poomsae judge.

James has been coaching for a number of years, is insured and has undergone DBS disclosure clearance through British Taekwondo.

As a club we want to make sure that Taekwondo is accessible to all and students will be able to progress at their own pace to achieve their own goals, whether they be, progressing to black belt, participating at a competitive level or just coming along to meet new people, stay fit and have fun.

Each class will start with a comprehensive warm up and stretching to ensure that students are well prepared for the training that follows.
